Historical Background: Casacanditella lies in the countryside between two rivers: Dendalo and Foro. The economy is mainly based on agriculture. Cascanditella means white house and was founded during the Roman age, as may archaeological findings confirm.The first reference to this settlement goes back to the 11th century. It was a feud of the De Letto in the 18th century and then of the Valignani. Heavily destroyed during World War II, it still preserves some architectonic examples of the first half of the 19th century.
