Historical Background: Colledimacine is situated on the esatern slopes of the Maio mountain, on a hill between two rivers affluents of the Aventino river. The territory stretches for 11,39 square kilometres. Historical references to the origins of the village date back to the 13th century. The presence of architectonical ruins from the 15th to the 16th centuries are in different churches and buildings of the village bear witness to periods of standstill, successively there are only a few official documents about its history.
