Historical Background: The village lies on a hill next to the Venna river and its economy is based on agriculture. The first documents date back to the 12th century. The location lies in the lush vegetation between two rivers. The sanctuary of Madonna della Libera presents on its façade a majolica-panel by Fedele Cappelletti. A few kilometres away from the village lies the church of St. Crisnate and St. Daria of 1192.
