Historical Background: The village is situated next to the sea between the outfalls of the Sangro and Osento river. Thanks to tourism, that is developing as years go by, the seashore of Torino Di Sangro has become a beloved destination. The first news of this settlement go back to 12th century, when the commune was called Civita De Sangro. For its strategic position during the Second World War the commune has been fardly bombed.
